Where Nature, Family & Food Come Together
Nestled along the serene stretch of Kanakapura Road in South Bengaluru, Casa Nassa is more than a farmstay — it's a home built from love, memory, and a deep connection to nature.
A decade ago, Nisha and Sebi stumbled upon this beautiful patch of land while searching for an escape from the city's rush. What began as a weekend retreat slowly grew into a sanctuary — one shaped by their shared love for the earth, good food, and slow, intentional living.
The name Casa Nassa holds a small secret — that extra "s" isn't a typo, but a tribute to Scotch, their English Labrador and the fifth member of the family. His joyful spirit defined the warmth and energy of this place. Though he passed away in 2018, his presence lingers in every corner of the farm — in the laughter that fills the home, in the open spaces that invite play, and in the sense of welcome that greets every guest.
From the very beginning, Casa Nassa was built with care for the land it stands on. The home is crafted using local and reclaimed materials — mud blocks made on the property, kadukaal stone sourced from Kanakapura, and timber lovingly restored from old structures. Even the elegant sadaralli pillars have their own story, once part of a discarded hen coop, now standing proudly as symbols of renewal. Every element reflects Nisha and Sebi's belief that comfort and sustainability can coexist beautifully.
All around, the farm flourishes with fruit trees from across South India and Kerala — water apple, jackfruit, kadachakka, and more — each bringing flavours of nostalgia and abundance. Animals roam freely, vegetables grow organically, and the kitchen transforms these simple gifts into soulful meals.
Food is the heart of Casa Nassa. From Nisha's kitchen comes Kerala recipes passed down from her dear mother Lucy — Meen Vevichathu, Kozhi Roast, Duck Curry, and soft Puttu, prepared with ingredients grown right here and served with genuine warmth. Between these home-cooked meals and tranquil yoga sessions led by Nisha herself, guests find space to reconnect — with nature, with themselves, and with the joy of slowing down.
At Casa Nassa, you're never just a guest. You're welcomed into a story — one of family, flavour, and the gentle beauty of countryside living.
